freetype2-demos software package provides FreeType 2 demonstration programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freetype2-demos
freetype2-demos is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freetype2-demos package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freetype2-demos *
You will get with freetype2-demos package name, version, architecture and description in a table
